About MARSCHPAT

MARSCHPAT, a notable figure in the Austrian start-up scene, has established an early partnership with PocketBook. They showcased their high-quality solution on PocketBook devices in a popular German TV show. Despite not securing investment there, MARSCHPAT has attracted significant investors in Austria, enhancing their music score solution.

Originating from the brass music scene, MARSCHPAT has been instrumental in aiding numerous brass bands to digitize and access music scores via PocketBook E-Readers.

Collaboration with PocketBook

MARSCHPAT's choice of PocketBook was driven by their receptiveness to innovation and exploring new markets. PocketBook's E-Readers, acclaimed for their technical excellence and design, are ideally suited for use as digital march books and for managing brass music scores. The products have been well-received by customers for these applications.

The partnership has been characterized by ease and cooperation, contributing positively to the start-up's journey. PocketBook's support in digital advancements is highly valued, and there is enthusiasm for ongoing collaboration and innovation in the Tech Music sector.

Benefits of MARSCHPAT's Score Solution

PocketBook E-Readers offer a lightweight alternative to traditional march books. This reduced weight significantly eases handling, and the devices are often attached directly to the instrument with a marching mounts holder.

PocketBook E-Readers, especially models like PocketBook Verse Pro, PocketBook Era, or PocketBook InkPad 4 with IPX8 water protection, are ideal for outdoor events, providing necessary protection against varying weather conditions.

Musicians benefit from the ability to personalize the device settings, displaying only relevant scores for their part in the band. The devices can be networked with each other locally for synchronized page-turning, enabling hands-free operation during performances.

Additionally, the integrated Bluetooth interface allows the connection of a foot pedal for convenient page turning, particularly useful during stand-based practice sessions.

The E-Ink technology used in PocketBook E-Readers ensures comfortable reading, even in bright light, while their high battery capacity guarantees constant readiness for use.

How the Score Management Works

The management is facilitated through a web portal, where playlists can be organized, new pieces found, or devices managed for a band. Hobbyists can upload their music, ensuring access to personally significant scores.

The desired scores can now be synchronized to your own PocketBook E-Reader via the portal, promoting hassle-free performance of personal music selections.

To use the MARSCHPAT score solution, a subscription model is required. There are different price  models. A free trial period of seven days is offered for those considering MARSCHPAT. More information is available here.
