How do I send in my old e-reader?

1. Register your return by filling out the form at our service center: Pocketbook.fixit-service.com/add.

2. Select "Return reason: Disposal of old Equipment"

3. For "Product," choose "Any Other Old E-book Reader Device"

4. For the purchase date, you can simply enter today’s date.

5. You will receive a return label and shipping slip by email (this may take a few hours depending on order volume and the day of the week).

What does shipping cost?

Shipping your old e-reader is free of charge. You will receive the return label via email after registering your return.

Which e-readers can I send in?

You can send in any e-reader to our PocketBook service center. The brand doesn’t matter—whether it’s PocketBook, Tolino, Kindle, or any other brand, all old devices are welcome.

How do I receive my discount code?

Once your device is reviewed, we’ll send you a personal discount code by email for 20% off your purchase of a new PocketBook device. Please note that this process may take 1–2 weeks. The discount code cannot be combined with other promotions.

What happens to my old device?
Your old e-reader will be properly recycled by our PocketBook service center in accordance with the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).

Why are we doing this?
Old devices don’t belong in the trash. They contain valuable resources that can be recovered and reused—and harmful substances that must be kept out of the environment.

What happens to the data on my e-reader?
Your data stays yours! The device will be disposed of without being powered on or accessed.

What if I return my new e-reader?
The discount code is single-use. If you return your new device within the 30-day return period, you will not be issued a new code.

All countries listed in our shipping list can participate. This ensures that you receive a shipping label for your old device and that your new PocketBook can be delivered.
