E Ink Kaleido™ 3 colour screen incl. SMARTlight & DARKmode

The PocketBook InkPad Color 3 is equipped with a 7.8-inch E Ink Kaleido™ 3 colour screen, which can display up to 4,096 colours. Compared to its predecessor, the screen resolves coloured e-book pages 50 % higher and offers improved colour saturation performance.

Thanks to SMARTlight and DARKmode, reading on the e-reader is always relaxed and easy on the eyes. While SMARTlight regulates the colour temperature and brightness of the display lighting, DARKmode inverts the text and background colour so that reading in dark surroundings is particularly relaxing.

Audio functions via Bluetooth or with integrated loudspeaker 

With the PocketBook InkPad Color 3 you can listen to audio books and music as well as use the text-to-speech function. Thanks to the integrated speaker, this works even if you don't have headphones with you. Of course, you can also use wireless headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Conventional headphones via cable can also be connected to the e-reader using a USB-C audio adapter (not included). The PocketBook InkPad Color 3 supports a total of 6 audio formats.

Water protection (IPX8) for carefree reading hours

Your PocketBook InkPad Color 3 accompanies you everywhere, even to the bathroom or the pool. The e-reader is water-protected and can withstand immersion in fresh water up to a depth of 2 metres for a maximum of one hour.

Ergonomics and user comfort

With its compact dimensions of 13.4 x 18.9 x 0.79 cm and a weight of only 270 grams, the PocketBook InkPad Color 3 is always comfortable to hold while reading. Thanks to the free button configuration and the built-in position sensor for automatic screen orientation, the e-reader can be used optimally by both left-handed and right-handed users.

You can download your e-books and audio books to the PocketBook InkPad Color 3 via Wi-Fi. Thanks to dual-band Wi-Fi, this happens particularly fast. The wireless connection to the digital world also connects to your PocketBook reader app on your smartphone or tablet. So, you can easily stop on one device and continue reading on the other.

Like all current PocketBook e-readers, the PocketBook InkPad Color 3 supports a wide range of e-book formats without conversion. Convenient access to digital content from your public library is available directly via the integrated Onleihe app or the browser (Overdrive)
