The tractate "categories" belongs to works by the Classical Greek scientist, founder of classical logic Aristotle (384-322 BC). "categories" is the first chapter of the standard set of six works by the author, known as "organon". In other words, categories - according to Aristotle's doctrine - are nothing else but ten postulates, which define all tangible things.
