"Janko the Musician" - is a work by the Polish writer, Nobel Prize in Literature Winner H. Sienkiewicz (1846 - 1916). The short story was written in 1879. In the early novellas by the prose writer there is a lot of lyricism, intimacy and hidden sadness. He repeatedly tells about the fate, cruelly jeering the destitute and weak people («janko the Musician», «for Bread », «bart the Conqueror»).
