"Village drama" is a work of the Russian writer NG Garin-Mikhailovsky (1852-1906). The play was written in 1903. It tells about the murder of the guard of Stepan and the poisoning of Nastia, the sick unloved husband. "The whole story is completely taken from me from reality," the author recalled. "The investigating judge told him." All the guilty were sentenced to hard labor. The purpose of my drama is to show the soil on which all these horrors of life grow.
