The Will

"The Will" - is an amusing short story by the world famous French writer Guy de Maupassant (French: Guy de Maupassant, 1850 - 1893). The protagonist has a mother - Madame de Coursil and two brothers, who are also de Kursil. However his name is René de Bourneval. He tells his friend the mistery of his origin and the reason of his having the other surname.
