High above Kassel you find the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. For centuries it was home to the rulers of Hessen-Kassel. The fascinating hillside ensemble showcases arcitectual and landscaping styles of several different periods. With an area of 2,4 km² the man-made landscape is one of Europe's largest mountain parks.
