LOVE SUGAR & COOKIE was written by Susan Marie Chapman over the course of a year. She uses photographs of her two Pomeranians, Sugar, and Cookie, who happen to be twin sisters, to tell the story Chapman is originally from Pennsylvania and lived most of her life outside of Philadelphia in a rural area of Amish country.
