Kolkhida

In the remote thirties of the previous century Kolkhida - a plain region in Georgia along the coast of the Black Sea from Sukhumi till Kobuleti - was actively assimilated. The purpose was obvious - to improve the landscape, to dry the malarias marshes, grow the tropical plants, turn the region into the fertile fields and pastures, so to say, create the "blossoming garden".
