Danger at The Landings

Max longs for adventures, but is expexted to be an obedient son and a helpful younger brother. When his pig, Hambone, is slaughtered, Max resolves to run away. Instead, he is bundled off to stay with his stern and demanding uncle, the miller at The Landings. There, adventure finally comes to Max when he least expects it.
