1 Treatment strategy

Regenerate the intestinal mucosa, eat easily digestible food.

Eat slowly and chew the food well to prevents stoma blockages and flatulence.

Ensure sufficient liquid of at least 2 liters daily - but not with meals, so that sufficient absorption of the food can take place. Pay attention to their temperature. Too cold or too hot drinks can speed up the emptying rhythm.

The fruit acid of concentrated fruit juices and vinegar, but also spicy spices can irritate the skin in the environment of the stoma.

Fiber-rich foods can clog the stoma exit (beef, asparagus, cabbage, cabbage).
