Flowing river

Flow in me river of peace,

Quenching every thirst that is within,

That I may be able to share with the thirsty,

This mysterious flowing river from the Spirit,

Whose waters pour forth peace.

Flow in me river of peace,

Washing every part within me,

That I may be renewed like a valued vessel,

Ready for use in your purpose,

To reach the lost soul whom you love.

Flow in me river of peace,

Refreshing the life that you have deposited within,

That every dying thing may be renewed,

Enabling me to finish this race that you set before me,

And see the glory you promised the believer.

Grow Righteousness

Grow and overcome oh Righteous one within,

My flesh and its desires that profit nothing

For in growing You will shine through me,

And I will be a valuable vessel for good works,

A light that shines in the darkness.

Grow and overcome oh Righteous one within

Deposited in my heart from the God who loves,

Working to bring forth your holy nature,

A gift not of my own making but from You Lord,
