Gott und Mensch im Alten Testament

Wie eng im Alten Testament das Menschen- und Gottesbild zusammenhangen, macht schon das durchgangige Phanomen des Anthropomorphismus in dessen Literaturen deutlich. Der vorliegende Band befragt exemplarisch den Zusammenhang von Anthropologie und Theologie, von Gotteskonzepten und Menschenkonzepten. Dabei werden u.a. folgende Fragen beruhrt: Welche Konsequenzen haben Monolatrie und Monotheismus fur die Identitat und Selbstreflexivitat des Menschen? Hangen Monotheismus und Individualismus zusammen? Welche Menschenbilder werden auf Gott ubertragen und welche nicht?[God and Man in the Old Testament. The Relation of the Image of God and of Man]lt becomes evident how close the image of man and of God is interrelated in the Old Testament, when you look at the phenomenon of anthropomorphism in its literatures. The present volume examines the relationship of anthropology and theology, of the images of God and the images of man. The following questions are touched: What are the consequences of monolatry and monotheism for identity and self-reflectivity of man? Are monotheism and individualism linked to each other? Which human images are transferred to God and which are not?
